The stealth gameplay can be a tiny bit clunky at times, your character snagging on geometry and the lack of a movable camera can provide some frustrating moments, but outside that it's a pretty engaging experience. It's got a really nice comic book style, with thick black outlines and lovely use of colour and speech bubbles, great voice acting and atmosphere.I've not read the comics, but I am really glad the game focuses on Celia and not Conrad (the protagonist of the comics). She seems far more interesting of a character here and I'd love to see more.All in all really promising start and I hope they make another season, with further improvements to gameplay. Will happily play more.8/10. Boi, I do not know anything about the "Thief of Thieves" comic before I play this game. Now I'm excited to read them.Very impressive. The story is great, the stealth game is challenging. Now I demand season 2, and I'll buy it for sure!. Camera. Camera is just the worst. make season 2 damn it!. Strong in storytelling.Good voice acting (nice atmosphere / accent).Graphic is good.Story is short (I finished it in about 8 hours) and the game length should be longer.. Good Gameplay, Decent story, only 5 hours long8/10. This is an 'alright' game I guess. Well actually, to be fair, this is pretty good by today's standards, and definitely deserves something more than a 'mixed' review on Steam, seeing how many 'overwhelmingly positive' sh!ites I've played. Let's start with the story, which is surprisingly fairly decent. It's probably not going to win any prize for that, but you do have a well-thought and engaging narrative about you living the life as a professional thief and heisting all over the world. Very straightforward, nothing cheesy, nothing contrived. By the finale I felt genuinely connected with some of the characters like this theif master Damiano, who has been tutoring me in the past months and has an excellent voice acting.The gameplay is a bit like Hitman, or rather a simplified or weaker version of it. Obviously in this case you steal rather than assassin, but you do have many similar mechanics like disguise, distraction, sneaking, blending in, different ways to achieve your target, and so forth. It works overall I'd say, but of course it is more linear and you have much less options than in Hitman, and some mechanics are just pure bullsh!t like the pickpocket and hacking, which are way too easy. Of course, you also have conversations and dialogues in this game, some of which have consequences but most are just informational.The artstyle is OK. Some scenes are quite stunning but a few I found are just 'meh', and similarly some characters are more appealing than the others. The main character Ceilia is... she could use some more artistic considerations, let's just put it that way. But that's just personal taste. Graphics is fine overall, but anti-aliasing needs to be fixed, as you constantly see these unpleasant jagged lines everywhere.Now, the elephant in the room is the control and the camera. My goodness, do something to your camera! This is the biggest problem I have with this game. It's sort of between a 2.5D and an isometric viewpoint, but you can't change the camera freely and you are bound to two fixed camera positions, which in many cases just do not work! Very often I found myself unable to see my character, bumping into things not visually accessible to me, confused about which is in the front and which is in the back between two objects, looking for doors which turned about to transparent, moving outside of the screen without the camera responding. The controls of running, croaching, and throwing things are also very cluncky... Seriously, it needs an overhaul.If you can get over this, yes, there is a nice game underneath it. With the overall quality, and a campaign of about 5-6 hours with some replay value, I'd say it's recommendable at the twenty dollar price.
